“Layering” or how to tie a sweater this autumn

A few weeks ago I was talking about “Layering”, a trend that we can all be part of by bringing it to our own field.

If we were told that the sweater or cardigan would become “the accessory” of the season, we would hesitate to believe it. The truth is that Autumn-Winter is the perfect season for layers, practical and versatile options that seek to create the perfect harmony in a combination of garments. Firms such as The Row show us proposals with this type of style in which the superimposed stitch becomes the protagonist.

The way you want to wear it will give voice to the style you seek to define.

#OneDayOneLook

A day at the office?

If you are looking for a sober and elegant look, but you want to go for a casual touch, I recommend that you add a black or navy blue knitted jumper to the waist over a suit jacket (or pleated trousers). Neutral tones will allow you many options for everyday wear.

A trick: The way you tie it is key, try different positions, center or half side.

Non Stop Day

There are days when, even if you're not going to do any sport, it seems like that's what it's all about. And for a 'Non Stop' day I recommend: a basic white t-shirt , leggings, contrasting socks and sneakers.

layering cardigan

Add an oversized blazer and finish the look by draping a cardigan over your shoulders.

Maxi Coats

There is no winter season without a coat to keep you warm in the cold. If you have one in earth tones or chocolate brown, you are in luck, these shades are the hit of the season. In addition to the classic grey coat , of course!

An idea: Pair a black shift dress with a low-heeled boot . Choose your favourite outerwear and wear it with a sweater tied around your neck like a scarf.

Just one piece of advice: Make it yours.
